How do you select the proper backup in iCloud backup list and restore it to your iPad pro, iPhone or iPod touch? There are two common situations, in which you may want to restore iCloud backup data to an iOS device like iPad pro, iPad mini, iPhone 6 / 6S / 6 plus / 5C / 5S / 5 / 4S, iPod touch, etc:
Situation 1: You lose some data from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch due to mistaken deletion, iOS corruption, iOS updating failure, virus infection, water damage, jailbreak failure, etc. When you meet any data loss problem on any iOS device, you may restore the iOS device from iCloud backup as long as you made backup for the device in advance before data loss.
Situation 2: You backed up an iOS device with iCloud, but now you want to recover the iCloud backup data to a new iPad, iPhone or iPod touch since the old device is broken, physically damaged or got stolen.
You want to recover iCloud backup to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch since you lose many or even all precious files on the device? For example:
If you want to restore the iCloud backup data to original iOS device that you have backed up it with the same Apple ID for the iCloud, it is very easy to handle. Just follow the guide below to recover entire iCloud backup to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch for data recovery:

Step3. After entering in iCloud, it will show several iCloud backup in backup list. It is highly recommended you to select the most recent backup and restore the entire backup back to the iOS device.
1. After restoring the entire iCloud backup to your iPhone or iPad / iPod touch, all previous data stored on the device will be overwritten by the backup data.
2. You have to restore the entire iCloud backup to your device, but you cannot only specify the data you need and restore it.
If you want to recover iCloud backup data to a new iPhone (or other iOS device), you may follow the instructions below:
Step1. Run launch Setup Assistance and then connect the new iPhone to WiFi network.
Step2. Select Restore from iCloud Backup > type your Apple ID and password to sign into the iCloud > agree to the iCloud terms and conditions > select the backup you want to restore and wait patiently before the restoring is successfully.
If you do not want to overwrite the current data stored on your device by restoring it with iCloud backup, you may use data recovery for iPhone to scan the device to get back what you need without using iCloud backup. Or you can also run the data recovery for iPhone to scan iCloud to search lost backup and then only select the files you need and restore them to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
